Our Mission

We Offers products on PASSIVE FIRE FIGHTING technique in market Passive fire protection is used to compartmentalize and curtail fire. As it protects structural stability against corrosion, integrity and offer time to occupants in case of fire threats.

INTUMESCENT FIRE PROOFING

We promote Intumescent Fire Protection, commonly used where the appearance matters. The material swells up during a fire and insulates the steel in a chemical reaction. The chemical reaction from the heat of the fire creates a char that insulates and cools the steel in the process. They are often applied at thicknesses below 1300 microns or 2500 microns and rarely applied at thicknesses above 7620 microns. For the thin Protective coating comes below 400 microns to 500 microns and above that is as thick film coating. Intumescent materials are formulated in water base, solvent base and epoxy base.

Application is done with airless spray equipment by our professioals as per SSPC/PA -10 standards, intumescent fire-proofing offers a great deal in terms of design freedom

Ferris Track Metal WORK expertises with proficiency in the appliction of water-based intumescent paint systems that enhance the beauty of exposed steel structures while providing fire resistant up to 120 minutes as per BS 476 Part 21, up to 3 hours fire. It Provide a durable and decorativefinish that can also be top-coated to match any aesthetic appearance.

CEMENTITOUS FIRE PROOFING

We uphold most popular and economic means of fire-proofing on for the internal concealed applications. It involves spraying lightweight cement-based material on structural steel members to a predetermined thickness computed as per ASTM or BS stanards. This Method is done concealed steel structure where final appearance does not matter. This application is more cost effective as in the ease of intumescent paint.

FIRE PROOFING APPLICATION

Ferris Track Metal Work application is based on the SSPC Standard on Paint ApplicationThe Application of Intumecent / Cementitous Paint is done by airless Spray painting, brush or roller application. It should be noted that in the event of a fire, the steel structure will eventually collapse once the steel attains the critical core temperature around 450 C° / 850 F°. The Fire proofing system will only delay this by creating a layer of char in between the steel and fire. Depening upon the requirement, PFP systems can provide fire resistance in excess of 120 minutes
